Etihad Stadium Corporate Boxes – Everything You Need to Know

Heading to Etihad Stadium to take in an AFL match or see your favourite band is a great way to spend a day or evening. However, sometimes you need it to be something more. Something a bit special.

Etihad Stadium’s corporate boxes provide exclusive access to a world-class venue. They are available on a permanent or casual basis, and are perfect for impressing clients, rewarding staff, and enjoying the very best corporate hospitality Melbourne has to offer.

A corporate box is ideal for every occasion. Etihad Stadium hosts a wide range of events, from some of the biggest AFL and A-League clashes, to the very best in live concerts and shows. A corporate box will ensure you have the best seat in the house, complete with extensive catering options featuring top-quality food and beverage packages.

The Stadium

Etihad Stadium (also known as Docklands Stadium), is located in Docklands, just a short tram ride or walk from the CBD. It is primarily used to host AFL matches, but is also home to several other sporting codes, including Twenty20 cricket, and the Melbourne Victory soccer team.

In recent years, Etihad Stadium has hosted some of the world’s biggest performers, with bands including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Coldplay, Adele, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, and countless others taking to the stage. It features a retractable roof and moveable seating, which makes it a versatile venue and suitable for almost any event. The capacity varies depending on its purpose and can extend from 12,000 up to 74,000.

The Corporate Boxes

Etihad Stadium has 66 private boxes of varying sizes. They all boast extensive views of the arena, providing a spectacular vantage point, whether you are watching a sporting match or a rock concert.

Becoming a corporate suite holder comes with a number of benefits – exclusive access to online ticketing, online food ordering, and other discounts and entitlements offered through Etihad Stadium affiliates.

A major feature of the corporate suites is the catering available. The menu features dishes designed by experienced, professional chef Matthew Lawdorn and use the very best in sustainable Victorian and Australian produce. Your guests can be indulged with a complete sit-down meal, or for more casual affairs, platters of hors d'oeuvres are available.

The beverage menu is equally as comprehensive, with a wide selection of alcoholic and alcohol-free options. Choose from the very best in Australian and New Zealand wines, local and imported beer, and a selection of spirits.

Getting to Etihad Stadium

Etihad Stadium is attached to Southern Cross Railway Station, which means that jumping on a train is the most efficient way to get there. As one of the two central rail hubs in Melbourne, the other being Flinders St Station, most train lines run through Southern Cross Station via the city loop. Check the PTV website for timetable information.

There are also several tram services that run past the stadium. The 96 and 86 trams run along Bourke Street and turn onto Spencer Street, with stops directly outside Southern Cross Station. The 11, 12, 48 and 109 trams run via Collins Street and stop on Spencer Street also, just a short walk from the station.

On the Dockland’s side, the 30, 70 and 75 trams have stops on Harbour Esplanade, right outside the stadium.

The stadium itself has 500 car parks for those who choose to drive, however given the volume of people attending each event, it is recommended to use public transport options.
