NBA's biggest stars are coming to Australia as The Boomers takes on Team USA in 2 blockbuster matches to take place at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne on the 22nd and 24th of August 2019.

Executive Chairman of the NBL, Larry Kestelman said the two-game series would be the "biggest basketball event ever held in Australia."

The last time the Boomers and Team USA matched up, was the 2016 Rio Olympics, with Team USA winning 98-88 in a closely fought contest.

With the games taking place just 1 week prior to the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China that commences on August 31, Team USA and Australia are set to field the strongest available line-ups in their final tune-up before the tournament.

1. Lebron James

Arguably the greatest NBA player of all time and the biggest name in basketball since Michael Jordan, Lebron James is a living legend of the sport. He is the all-time NBA playoffs scoring leader and has 2 Olympic gold medals, 4 NBA Most Valuable Player Awards and made it to the NBA Finals 8 consecutive years among many other accolades and accomplishments. Lebron made an estimated $86 million last year, and is well on his way to becoming the second billionaire basketball player since Michael Jordan. It's good to be king.

2. Steph Curry

Steph Curry plays for the Golden State Warriors and has been called by many the greatest shooter in NBA history, holding the record for most 3-pointers in a single season (402).
